A few steps from the cloister of the cistern is the entrance to the museum, an exhibition divided into seven rooms also dating from the second half of the 15th century. The exhibition offers us various works of art of undoubted value, but above all it wants to be a cross-section of the Franciscan life in La Verna. In the photo we see the sixth room known as "science". This area is largely dedicated to the tools used in the ancient pharmacy, or apothecary, which used medicinal herbs grown in the vegetable gardens we saw at the beginning of the itinerary. Curious is the eighteenth-century painting that we see at the bottom: an apothecary fails to heal a sick person and then begs the help of the Madonna.
