UNA CHIESA DALLA FORMA ANOMALA
Appena entrati nella Chiesa di Carda si nota evidente la forma anomala di questo sacro edificio. La pianta è asimmetrica con l'altare maggiore posto in un ampliamento seicentesco della chiesa. Così com'è un ampliamento la parte dove ci troviamo in questo momento. Lungo la parete destra (sotto l'organo) si trova la porta d'ingresso all'edificio nella precedente disposizione della chiesa, con l'altare maggiore che era collocato nello spazio a sinistra che intravediamo. È simpatico notare che dall'esterno vediamo questa porta ancora al centro della facciata (pagina precedente).
As soon as you enter the Church of Carda you can clearly see the anomalous shape of this sacred building. The plan is asymmetrical with the high altar placed in a seventeenth-century extension of the church. Just as the part where we are now is an extension. Along the right wall (under the organ) is the entrance door to the building in the previous layout of the church, with the high altar that was placed in the space on the left that we glimpse. It is nice to note that from the outside we can still see this door in the center of the facade (previous page).
