UN LUOGO D'ARTE NELLA PICCOLA CARDA
La Chiesa di Carda dedicata alla Sante Flora e Lucilla vale certamente una visita per l'arte qui presente. In questa immagine vediamo già una tela d'inizio Settecento (in alto a destra) e in fondo, sull'altare maggiore, una madonna in terracotta di scuola robbiana contornata dai Misteri del Rosario, dipinto seicentesco. Nelle prossime pagine potremo osservare nel dettaglio queste opere e l'organo posto lungo la parete. Sotto a questo vediamo quella che una volta era la porta principale della chiesa.
The Church of Carda dedicated to Saints Flora and Lucilla is certainly worth a visit for the art present here. In this image we already see a canvas from the early eighteenth century (top right) and at the back, on the high altar, a terracotta Madonna from the Robbian school surrounded by the Mysteries of the Rosary, a seventeenth-century painting. In the next pages we will be able to observe these works in detail and the organ placed along the wall. Below this we see what was once the main door of the church.
