A PIEVE DI SOCANA IL BIVIO PER CARDA
Per giungere a Carda in Casentino, frazione montana del Comune di Castel Focognano, a Rassina bisogna lasciare la Strada Regionale 71 e imboccare la Strada Provinciale 59 per Talla. Dopo circa cinquecento metri vediamo sulla destra la Pieve di Socana. In questo tratto di strada ci sono due bivi a destra per dirigersi a Carda. Dodici chilometri di via asfaltata, ma un po' stretta e curvosa, meglio procedere con prudenza. Se non conoscete la romanica Pieve di Socana, il luogo vale senza dubbio una visita. To reach Carda in Casentino, a mountain hamlet in the municipality of Castel Focognano, at Rassina you have to leave the Regional Road 71 and take the Provincial Road 59 for Talla. After about five hundred meters we see the Pieve di Socana on the right. In this stretch of road there are two forks on the right to head towards Carda. Twelve kilometers of asphalt road, but a little narrow and curvy, better to proceed with caution. If you do not know the Romanesque Pieve di Socana, the place is definitely worth a visit.
