RESTI DI UN'ABSIDE ELIMINATA
Accanto alla base del campanile si trovano i resti di una delle due absidi laterali presenti nella seconda chiesa di Socana, quella del Mille, eliminate nella terza edificazione, l'attuale. Anche questi resti sono venuti alla luce durante gli scavi degli anni '70.
In basso a sinistra nella foto vediamo che dall'abside parte un muro. Scopriamo nella prossima pagina di cosa si tratta.
Next to the base of the bell tower are the remains of one of the two lateral apses present in the second church of Socana, the one from the year 1000, eliminated in the third building, the current one. These remains also came to light during the excavations of the 70s.
