In certi tratti del suo percorso, il CAI 223 mostra un selciato importante, vecchio ma non particolarmente antico. Un’opera realizzata certamente per lo smacchio del legname a soma. Teniamo presente che la Foresta della Lama per secoli è stata una miniera di legname. In certain sections of its route, CAI 223 shows an important pavement, old but not particularly ancient.
